Bill Evans

Jazz pianist Bill Evans was born and raised in New Jersey, and graduated as a piano major in 1950. By 1956, he had recorded his first album. He has influenced musicians such as Herbie Hancock, Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea and Brad Mehldau. He also contributed planning, ideas and writing to Miles Davis’ ‘Kind Of Blue’.
