Alex North

Alex North (December 4, 1910 – September 8, 1991) was an American composer who wrote one of the the first jazz-based film scores for (A Streetcar Named Desire). His music for Viva Zapata! was also considered to be amongst the earliest Hollywood film scores to employ modernist elements.
