Alphaville
German synth pop-group Alphaville formed in 1983. They were Marion Gold, Bernhard Lloyd and Frank Mertens. Their 1984 debut single ‘Big In Japan’ was a big European hit, but the band is perhaps best known for their single ‘Forever Young’.
