Contingency Plan formed in 2004 through the collaboration of MCs Corrosion, Catharsis & DJ/producer, The Plan. They can be considered hip-hop, breakbeat or even hip-aeon music as defined by Varda Lynn. CP are determined to show people a new direction of music where all the best qualities from many different genres are demonstrated. Through the use of samples, breaks, beats & bass... lyrics, influences and a number of instruments, Contingency Plan manage to achieve their definitive sound. With The Plan being able to play pretty much any instrument, along with his abate attitude, CP present one of the most controversial up and coming producers around today. MC Corrosion is not only a professional lyricist but also a master at the bass guitar. His skills also hold a key part in the finalised product of CPs sound. Due to Corrosions heavy metal and grindcore influences he is able to spit out lyrics at a stupidly fast and aggressive speed that can not be easily matched. Catharsis offers the final element to the Contingency Plan equation through an unusal rapping technique.
