George Benson
Jazz guitarist George Benson has skirted a range of styles, from swing bop to R&B to pop. He started out as a singer, performing in nightclubs at eight, and by 1965 he formed his own group and signed to Columbia, where he released several albums. He later switched to Warner and released the 1976 album ‘Breezin’’, which became a top ten hit.
