Air
French pop-electronic heroes Air take their inspiration from the gentle, harmonic pop of Burt Bacharach and Brian Wilson, and sprung to fame in the late '90s. Mixing the classic disco sound with the sedated beauty of late '70s pop, Air also use the ethereal presence of several female vocalists, creating a sound which ranges between Boards of Canada, Stereolab, Morcheeba and Jimi Tenor.
