The Trudy
After releasing 2 singles last year The Trudy now release 3 Minutes 4U to fantastic reviews such as “Like Morrissey obsessed with Heart, on anti depressants, with one heck of a hook on his hands…” and “All the ingredients are there – golden, chunky, treble-busting guitars, a singer with a perfect balance between vulnerability and shopping-list-reading disinterest, and the almost obscene use of melody throughout.” Then there is this one “… an energetic power pop number that bounces you from side to side, upside down and back to front again without wiping the smile from yours and their faces.” and another “… bloody ace, like a scrumptious amalgamation of St. Etienne, The Primitives and Echobelly …” Another said “… a cocktail of pure uncompromised indie cheer that all but shoots a ray of sunshine out of your speakers.” whilst over at Whisperin and Hollerin we had “ If you want a foot tapping, finger clicking, hand clapping jolly good time. There is no better place to start than with The Trudy.” The Organ summed it all up with “The Trudy are sounding better than ever, good to have them back.”
