The Oracle
The Oracle grew up together on the estates of New Addington, and formed the band as it is now four years ago. Oozing charm and charisma, the band soon built up a large local following with their stunning live act and accomplished indie-rock anthems. Hugely popular in their native South London, the band has played most of the town’s major venues, including the Shepherds Bush Empire, the Mean Fiddler, ULU, the Water Rats and Dingwalls, and have often headlined at the Clapham Grand as well as the Borderline, the Garage, the Dublin Castle, Guilfest and many other top venues. With can’t-take-your-eyes-off-them stage presence and a powerful, thrilling and loud live sound, the Oracle hit the indie charts with their first release and have their new single 'Burn The Pages' released on 25th February 2008. They certainly have more than enough talent to dominate the indie rock scene for many years to come.
