Al Stewart
After spending time as a member of The Sabres and moving in 1960s London’s folky circles, Glaswegian Al Stewart released a series of albums packed with introspective, stark love songs. Although Stewart changed his tack later on and used his songs to explore his fascination with history, 1976’s ‘Year Of The Cat’ was a hit on both sides of the Atlantic, selling over a million copies. Stewart continued to record and tour throughout the '80s and '90s.
