Kevin Rudolf
Kevin Rudolf (born February 17, 1983), is an American singer-songwriter, record producer and guitarist. Born and raised in New York City, New York, by his mother, a singer, Rudolf began making music at a young age and performed in various clubs in downtown Manhattan throughout his youth. While still in his teens, he taught himself to produce and engineer, as well as write songs. Rudolf was signed for a brief time to Maverick Records, Madonna's label, before working as a session guitarist for the producer Timbaland. While with Timbaland, Rudolf's virtuosic guitar playing can be heard on songs by Justin Timberlake, the Black Eyed Peas, Nelly Furtado, Lil Kim and David Banner. Rudolf then signed as a solo artist with Cash Money in 2008. His debut single "Let It Rock" featured Lil Wayne, and was certified Quadruple Platinum (4 million sales), and reached #5 on the Billboard Hot 100, #5 on the UK Singles Chart, #3 on the Australian Singles Chart, and #2 on the Canadian Hot 100. His second studio album To the Sky features the million-selling hit single "I Made It," Rudolf has won three BMI Pop awards.
