Kym Franklin & The Cleft Way

The Cleft Way are songwriter BB Mayes, Vocalist Kym Franklin and bass guitarist and co-vocalist Mark Burleson. Following on from writing popular radio tracks for Satya Graha, Mayes began writing a catalogue of songs which were unlike anything he had written before in terms of style and subject matter. The songs were originally intended for what was to be a follow-up album for Satya Graha. However, the canon of songs that were created in this period didn't suit any of the projects he was involved with. Mayes conceived a studio project to record the songs he had finished writing - that studio project was The Cleft Way.
