US west coast psychedelic folk-rock outfit fronted by the maverick partnership of Arthur Lee and Bryan Maclean. For many, 1967's 'Forever Changes' was the band's finest moment. However, the line-up responsible for that seminal album disbanded soon afterwards, with Maclean leaving Lee to enlist session musicians in a vain attempt to recreate the heights of previous efforts.
