Paul Simon
US singer/songwriter Paul Simon was born in Newark, New Jersey in 1941. His musical career dates back to the 1950s, but he first found commercial success with childhood friend Art Garfunkel in the folk duo Simon and Garfunkel. Simon’s solo debut, ‘The Paul Simon Songbook’, was released in 1965. His 1975 album ‘Still Crazy After All These Years’ went to number one in the Billboard charts and won Album of The Year and Best Male Vocal Performance Grammies.
