The Pretty Things
The Pretty Things were vocalist Phil May guitarist Dick Taylor, who played in early versions of the Rolling Stones alongside Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. The Pretty Things recorded a handful of rhythm and blues rockers in the mid-1960s, moving on to psychedelia in the later ‘60s. Founding member Taylor left in 1968, but their album ‘Parachute’ from 1970 was named album of the year by Rolling Stone. They reformed in 1999 to release the album ‘Rage...Before Beauty’.
