Rollercoaster Records
FORWARD – INTO THE 50S WITH ROLLERCOASTER! Rollercoaster Records was founded in 1976. Our first releases were in 7” vinyl format - an EP by Sonny Curtis and The Crickets, “Million Dollar Movie”, and a rare rockabilly single, “Jukebox Rock’n’Roll” by Ray Coleman & The Skyrockets. Our first album was “Rockaphilly!” an LP of mostly unissued rockabilly tracks recorded in Philadelphia. In the CD era our first release in digital format was Bill Haley’s “Rock The Joint” which was made up from tracks recorded prior to “Rock Around The Clock” for the Essex and Holiday labels. Rollercoaster’s policy from the start has been to release or reissue worthy material, regardless of sales potential - and sure enough some of our releases have hardly sold at all. But we are still proud of them - as we are of our best-selling albums by Jack Scott, Buddy Holly, The Crickets and Davey Graham. We plan to release similar products in the future, many of which will be in our award-winning Rolapak format, a card sleeve something like an old double or triple vinyl album in CD size. We will also maintain the vinyl format and of course digital downloads of material from our catalogue together with some releases only available for downloading If you have any questions about our products or downloads, please contact us: sales@rollercoasterrecords.com (44)1453 886252 Rollercoaster Records Ltd Rock House London Road.
