London based tunesmith Luke Kaden is a confident, assured artist who has a canon of songs that have a timeless quality, yet with a distinctly melancholy feel. ''I like good songs and my influences range from The Streets to The Verve, U2, classical and even American punk-rock,'' says Luke. Luke's new CD, which is produced by Richard Matthews, (The Futureheads, The Rakes and British Sea Power), and was recorded in London studio 2Khz (Nick Cave, David Gray and Robbie Williams) showcases both sides of his sound.
